Newcastleton School Partnership

As you may be aware, changes are taking place in the way parents are represented in all Scottish Schools.  Parent Councils are being formed to replace School Boards and Parent Associations.

The objectives of the NSP are:

* To raise funds to benefit the school.

* To work in partnership to create a welcoming school, this is inclusive for all parents and members of the community.

* To promote partnership between the school, pupils, parents and community.

* To develop and engage in activities which support the education and welfare of the pupils.

* To identify and represent the views of parents and community members, on the education provided by the school and other matters affecting the education and welfare of the pupils.
